The VSU is a multi-purpose organization focused on four areas of interest:

 

SUPPORT on VENEZUELAN AFFAIRS

This organization has the purpose to coordinate, and provide orientation to Venezuelan students who need guidance in the process of completing administrative procedures related to the participation of Venezuelan students who attend Northeastern University, or foreign students who are looking to visit Venezuela for academic programs or Coop.

 

PROMOTION of the VENEZUELAN CULTURE

The VSU is constantly looking for the social integration of people around campus, and beyond Northeastern University. In this specific interest, this organization is looking forward to promote the Venezuelan culture at Northeastern University through folklore, cuisine, history, science, and any other aspect relevant to the Venezuelan idiosyncrasy.

 

INTEGRATION of the VENEZUELAN COMMUNITY

The purpose of this organization is also to serve as a basic structure for people who want to keep in touch with their identity, or learn more about Venezuela.

 

ENTREPRENEURSHIP for VENEZUELAN DEVELOPMENT

This organization also targets the human talent; therefore, it is in the lookout for students with entrepreneurial personality who are interested in providing knowledge, and participate in projects that help in the development of Venezuelan society.
